This 159 page softcover book includes a map with some possible routes and relevant information on these routes.Has some useful general information too. The latest edition is 2001 and some information relevant to park permits may be outdated.

Written by E.J.Crossman and published in 1976 by the royal Ontario Musem and The Quetico Foundation this is a very informative and scientific publication. It includes a list of all species, a list of lake names and the species found in each lake, good black and white illustrations of the different species, some b & w photos, and such things as age-lenght-weight charts for lake sturgeon and lake trout. There is information on "Glacial History and Changes in Pathways for Fishes". A very nformative book.

Written by Shirley F. Peruniak, Quetico Park's Historian, and published by Friends of Quetico Park in 2000, this book includes the natural history and the "people history" of Quetico. There are many b & w and some color photos.
If you are visiting Quetico for the first time and wish to learn about the park, this is a good book to read. If Quetico is one of your favorite places, it is a must have.
