Quetico has inspired generations of paddlers with its beauty, solitude, and pristine waters. Now it’s time to turn your inspiration into art.

All artists and craftspeople, amateur or professional, are invited to share their experiences of Quetico’s wilderness by entering the Inspired by Quetico Juried Art Exhibition.

Selected entries will be on display in Quetico Park Entry Stations and the community of Atikokan from May 13 – September 10, 2005.

In the Community, the juried art show will be showing during the Breathin' In the Wilds Festival February 10, 11th at the Atikokan Arts Centre, where the prizes will be awarded


Categories include:

2D Over 14
2D Under 14
Including, but not limited to, oils, acrylics,
watercolours, pastels, printmaking, drawing,
graphics, and photography.

3D Over 14
3D Under 14
Including, but not limited to, fibre,
sculpture, metals, ceramics, basketry,
and mixed media.

Performance Over 14
Performance Under 14
Including, but not limited to, film, dance,
and music.

Top entries in each category are eligible for awards.
