Voyageur Heritage Programme

Voyageurs at Dawn - Frances Anne Hopkins
Celebrate Quetico's colourful voyageur heritage at the Dawson Trail Campground. Join us during July and August for guided paddles in 26' voyageur canoes, voyageur games, dancing, and more!

Don't forget to join us August 13-15 for the 4th Annual Long Live the Voyageurs Weekend - your opportunity to become a certified Quetico Voyageur.

The Voyageur Heritage Programme is made possible by the generous support of the Friends of Quetico.

David Thompson Bicentennial

Canoe Party Around a Campfire - Francis Anne Hopkins
It's been 200 years since David Thompson slept on the shores of the French Portage, now part of the Dawson Trail Campground. On August 5, 1804, possibly the world's greatest geographer, the man who mapped Canada, camped on the shores of French Lake. Join us this August as we celebrate!
